Reservations
A reservation is a two-way contract between SunRise Motel and the guest.  It assures that your accommodations will be kept available for you for all of the dates indicated, and it assures us that we can turn away other potential guests for the dates indicated.  A credit card must be provided to secure your reservation.  Reservations may be made in person or over the phone.  You may submit a reservation inquiry through our contact us link, but this does not guarantee you a reservation.

Cancellations 
Cancellations must be made by 3 pm the day before your arrival in order to avoid a cancellation charge.  If the cancellation is made after that period of time, you will be charged for one night’s stay.  If a guest is a no-show, they will be charged for the first night and the remainder of the reservation will be canceled.

Checking In
Check in time is between 3:00pm-10:00pm.  Check in’s after 10:00 pm will not be available unless prior arrangements have been made.  While checking in, we will ask you to present your photo ID and credit card that your room has been held with for verification purposes.  Room payment is required in full at the time of check in.  Each guest is required to provide a credit card to cover incidental costs that may arise, NO prepaid cards are accepted.  Guests must be 21 years old to register.

Checking Out
Check out time is 11:00 am.  Sorry, no late check out’s can be accommodated.  Items in rooms are inventoried at check out.  Any missing or damaged item(s) will be charged to the credit card on file.  At the discretion of the management, any room not left in the way it was rented at check in will be charged an additional $250 or more.

Parking
Each guest room is equipped with one parking space located in front of their door.  If you have more than one vehicle, please see the front desk for more direction.  Trailers and boats have limited space and are available on a first come, first serve basis.  If a guest should need to use our electricity to plug-in their boats or automobiles, please notify our front desk for further direction.  There is a small $10 plug in charge.  Please remember that extension cords will not be permitted to run across the sidewalks.

Animal Policy
In consideration of all guests, SunRise Motel will not allow any animals on our property.  If a guest is found with an animal on the property or housekeeping identifies signs of an animal in the motel, guests will be obligated to pay an additional $250 or more in cleaning fees and will be asked to leave without a refund and will not be allowed to return.  We also do not allow guests to keep animals in vehicles in our parking lot as a courtesy to our other guests.

Smoking Policy
SunRise Motel is proud to offer all 20 rooms as Non-Smoking guest rooms.  Any guests or their visitors that are found smoking in their room (including evidence of cigarette butts, ashes, or a lingering smoke smell) will be charged an additional $250 or more in cleaning fees and will be asked to leave without refund and not allowed to return.

Cleaning Policy
It is our policy to clean guest rooms before, during, and after your stay.  SunRise Motel reserves the right to access rooms every day for housekeeping, maintenance, safety, and security.

Cooking Policy
According to our insurance guidelines, guests are not allowed to use their own cooking devices within any room of the motel, nor may they use any open flame cooking device on the property.  The snack room and each suite is equipped with a microwave for guests to use.

SunRise Motel is not responsible in case of accident.  All occupants have been disclosed and are responsible for their belongings.  Service and accommodations will be refused or revoked from any person who (a) Acts in an obviously intoxicated or disorderly manner while on motel property, (b) Shows any signs of suspicious activity, (c) Maliciously destroys or threatens to destroy any motel property; causes or threatens to cause a public disturbance, (d) Refuses to or is unable to pay for the accommodation or services at the time of check-in, or (e) Negligently or intentionally causes damage to the motel and/or its belongings.
